Gravity (John Mayer Cover)

Just finished this John Mayor cover….Gravity. I hope that he doesn’t mind me recording a cover of this song. I have been a fan of John’s music for some time and when a friend of mine turned me on to this song some time ago I just had to learn it. It is simple and brilliant tune. Along with “Daughters” and “Waiting on the World to Change,” it is one of my favorite songs to sing and play.

As I under it…Here is John’s intended meaning of the song…

“this is a song about… making sure you still love yourself… making sure you still have your head on, making sure you still say no the way your mom would say no. And I will need it every damn day of my life because it’s easier to mess up than it is to stay here.”
