Republica Dominicana – Day 1
It seems like forever since I have posted an entry. To be clear, the past several months have been a blur. Between projects at Willow and projects on the side, I have been going non-stop. Now I finally feel inspired to write again.
I write this entry after a long day of Travel to of Travel to the Dominican Republic with some friends from my team. We are here to reconfigure and clean up the network in our local D.R. office, install teleconferencing equipment and install a Voice over I.P. phone system and computer network at I.C.C.; a great local church in Santa Domingo.
Tonight we met some great technology partners, Gabriel and Moses. I am so impressed with these guys. It’s around 1 a.m. and I am frankly too tired to elaborate. Let’s just say that ICC is in really good hands.
For more details about our first day here please check out our D.R. video blog.

Hello Mike,
I have enjoyed and want to thank you for the reports from the DR. It was really nice to see where the work is being done. Will the 100 computers be used in Henry’s centers?
I have read a couple of your other missives going back in time and just want you to know that I am way too much like you in terms of both passion and anger.
The ISSAT group knows me as Randy. Cheryl and I have been guest volunteers for about six months now and may have meet you at the BBQ.
