Willow I.T. in The D.R. – Day 2

The end of another great day. This morning started by meeting with Carlos Pimental, Executive Director of Esperanza International. Carlos is a hero of mine. His passion for people and his love of Christ is so evident. Today he shared his vision and strategy of partnership; how we can work together to leverage technology for education and development. It is so exciting to see this shared vision for educaton, community, justice and the transforming love of Christ. I was absolutely inspired to see how much we have in common; our passions seem to be so aligned already. It is evident that God is up to something that is bigger than all of us. The opportunities to leverage technology for education are exploding down here.

The team is also making great progress. Brett and Arman are absolutely amazing. They worked together with Carlos and finished most of the cable runs.  Elvis, mi pana de tecnologia,  from Esperanza has jumped in to help by hooking us up with local resources and supplies. Things are going great and I feel very blessed.

Just a quick note to my beautiful family. I miss you all terribly and I so wish you were here. Alize says hi.
